Mobility is about people not machines, so we designed the Accord with wide opening front and rear doors. They make it easier for all passengers (and anyone with kids in car seats) to get in and out of the Accord.

Alloy wheels.

Standard equipment on every Accord, large alloy wheels give the car a very athletic profile, as well as enhance its performance. The VTi has 16" alloys, whilst the VTi Luxury and V6 Luxury models have larger 17" alloys.

Electric sunroof

When you're on the road, there's nothing as invigorating as warm sunshine and a cool breeze. On the Accord VTi Luxury and V6 Luxury, they're 'standard equipment' – thanks to an electric tilt & slide glass sunroof.

Rain sensing wipers.

Accord is among today's most technologically advanced cars. Wipers that adjust their speed automatically based on rain volume are one of these very smart touches (standard on VTi Luxury and V6 Luxury).

Active Noise Control.

In the V6 Luxury model, Active Noise Control (ANC) significantly reduces low-frequency sounds in the interior. By transmitting 'opposite-phase sound waves' through the audio system’s speakers, it can make 6 cylinders of engine power disappear into the very quiet background.

Advanced 5-speed auto.

The quick-shifting, 5-speed automatic features Grade Logic Control, which helps eliminate 'gear-hunting' in hilly conditions. For sportier driving, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts add more control – and excitement.

2.4L 4-cylinder.

Available in the VTi and VTi Luxury models, this high-output engine produces 133kW of peak power and 222Nm of torque. Honda's i-VTEC engine valve technology ensures smooth, efficient acceleration.

3.5L V6.

The Accord V6 Luxury model combines i-VTEC technology with groundbreaking Variable Cylinder Management (see below). You get plenty of power (202kW) and torque (339Nm) with extraordinary efficiency.

Sharp, responsive handling.

Accord's low centre of gravity means there's very little body movement even on tight corners. Plus, disc brakes on every wheel make for fast, fade-resistant stopping.

Smooth, stable drive.

For a large car, the Accord is light on its toes. The state-of-the-art double wishbone suspension up front, and the multi-link in the rear, deliver unwavering stability, superior ride comfort and driver control.

Safety

At the forefront of safety technology.

At Honda, we've always liked making the world a safer place, so some of our best thinking goes into things we hope you never use. The Accord's wide range of safety features includes Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Honda's stability control technology, which comes standard on every model.

Advanced Anti-Lock Braking.

A 4-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) enhances the Accord's braking safety. EBD automatically adjusts the braking power applied to each wheel to achieve optimal control and stability.

Comprehensive airbags.

All Accord models feature sophisticated dual-stage, dual-threshold front airbags, as well as dual-chamber side airbags. They help protect the driver and front passenger from injuries associated with both high and low-speed collisions. In addition, full-length curtain airbags also help provide maximum cabin protection for front and rear passengers.

Engineered for collision protection.

When a collision can't be avoided, the Accord protects occupants with Honda's G-Force Control Technology (G-CON) and Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE). G-CON and ACE help absorb and disperse impact forces away from the passenger cabin. ACE also helps reduce the risk of under-ride or over-ride in the case of a collision with a larger or smaller vehicle.

Active front seat head restraints.

To help reduce head and neck injuries, the front seats are fitted with active head restraints. In the case of a rear collision, these restraints move up and forward to keep head movement to a minimum.

Reversing camera.

The V6 Luxury model makes reversing and getting into tight spaces safer and easier. A reversing camera shows you exactly how much room you have to move.
