The all-new Accord is the most impressive Accord ever built - with maximum power, maximum space and maximum fuel efficiency. In fact, it's among the largest and most powerful in its class - and amongst the most fuel efficient.

Exterior

True large car

The Accord is a true large car. In fact, it is the largest and most powerful Accord ever built. Its aggressive nose, coupled with muscular, sporty styling sits confidently on the road and makes a very big statement.

Chrome door handles

Beautifully crafted pull-type door handles feature a stylish chrome finish. They are positioned along the Accord's crease line, adding a degree of elegance often reserved for more expensive vehicles.

Alloy wheels

The purposeful look is accentuated with stylish alloy wheels. The Accord VTi model features a smart looking 16-inch design, whilst the Accord VTi Luxury, V6 and V6 Luxury models feature a larger 17-inch design.

Automatic headlights

The headlights on the VTi Luxury and V6 Luxury models senses low ambient light and switch on automatically. In addition, the V6 Luxury model gains High Intensity gas Discharge (HID) headlights as standard.

Electric sunroof

Enjoy a panoramic view from inside the VTi Luxury and V6 Luxury models. An electric glass sunroof is standard equipment. With tilt or slide functions, it's perfect for enjoying sunny days and balmy evenings.

Rain sensing wipers

Standard on the VTi Luxury and V6 Luxury models is a rain-sensing wiper system, activated by water droplets falling on the windscreen. The system automatically adjusts the timing according to the intensity of the rain.

Interior

Dual-zone climate control

The driver and front passenger can each set their own desired ambient temperature. The fully automatic air conditioning system will ensure everyone in the Accord's cabin is as comfortable as possible.

Audio system

A 6 speaker AM/FM tuner and 6-CD stacker with MP3 & WMA disc compatibility is standard. An auxiliary jack also allows you to plug in your MP3 player. The V6 Luxury model even includes a subwoofer for extra bass.

Tilt & telescopic steering column

It's easy to find the perfect driving position in the Accord. The steering column is adjustable for reach as well as rake, so all drivers will feel equally as comfortable behind the wheel.

Cruise control

Keep your eyes on the road, rather than the speedo, with Accord's intelligent cruise control system. The buttons for all cruise control operations are located on the steering wheel for quick and easy operation.

Satellite navigation

The satellite navigation system in the Accord V6 Luxury is highly sophisticated and will keep track of wherever you're going. The embedded calendar function will also remind you if you have a meeting or event coming up.

Engineering

2.4 litre i-VTEC engine

Accord VTi and VTi Luxury models feature a refined 4-cylinder 2.4 litre DOHC i-VTEC engine, producing an impressive 133kW of power and 222Nm of torque, whilst maintaining low emissions and enviable fuel economy.

3.5 litre i-VTEC V6 engine

Accord V6 and V6 Luxury models benefit from the most powerful engine ever offered in an Accord - a 3.5 litre i-VTEC V6 engine. With 202kW of power and 339Nm of torque, its performance credentials are class-leading.

Variable Cylinder Management (VCM)

The clever engine in the V6 and V6 Luxury models feature a highly advanced technology known as VCM. It seamlessly transitions between 6, 4 or even 3 cylinders as circumstances require.

Active Noise Control (ANC)

When VCM shuts down one bank of cylinders, the audio system’s ANC function generates out-of-phase sound waves to cancel out any undesirable noise that may be due to the harmonics of 3-cylinder operation.

5-speed automatic with paddle shift

For effortless motoring, all Accord models are equipped with a silky-smooth 5-speed automatic transmission. And when the mood strikes, there are steering wheel mounted paddle shift controls for hands-on sporting fun.

Drive by wire throttle

The Accord features a drive-by-wire throttle system. This replaces the conventional throttle cable with an all-electronic system, enabling better communication with the transmission for a smoother drive.

Fuel efficiency

Honda have always produced powerful engines that minimise fuel usage. The combined economy for VTi and VTi Luxury models is only 8.8 litres per 100km*, whilst V6 and V6 Luxury models use just 10.0 litres per 100km*.

Safety

Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)

Advanced VSA technology combines with a Traction Control System (TCS) to bring the car back under control and help regain traction in sticky situations, such as hard cornering or swerving to avoid a collision.

Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE)

ACE efficiently absorbs impacts between vehicles of varying sizes in the event of a front-end collision. In addition, our G-Force Control technology (G-Con) disperses energy away from passengers in a crash.

Anti-lock brakes

In addition to anti-lock brakes, we've included Electronic Brakeforce Distribution to spread optimal braking force between front and rear. Also, the Brake Assist function increases braking output in emergency conditions.

Airbags

All Accords feature dual front and side airbags with an Occupant Position Detection System, ensuring effective deployment. VTi Luxury, V6 and V6 Luxury models are also equipped with side curtain airbags for both rows.

Active front head restraints

In the unfortunate event of a rear-end collision, the innovative active front head restraints actively move forward to absorb shock and help minimise the potential for whiplash and neck injury.

Keyless entry and alarm

Keyless entry and an advanced engine immobilser are standard on all Accord models. Meanwhile, your CDs and shopping will be much safer thanks to a fully integrated security alarm system.

Reversing camera

The reversing camera on the V6 Luxury model is automatically activated when 'reverse' gear is selected. An external camera sends an image to the dash-mounted colour screen to make parking safer.
