Vehicle Stability Assist and Motion Adaptive EPS

In slippery conditions, it's natural for drivers to react quickly and intuitively. Too often, this can lead to over-steering or under-steering and a subsequent loss of driver control.

Motion Adaptive EPS is an innovative feature of the Euro that works in combination with the Euro's Vehicle Stability Assist system. It smoothes out the steering in potentially dangerous situations, such as tight cornering or short braking, helping the driver steer in the correct direction and maintain full control.

When in automatic mode, the automatic transmission incorporates an advanced Grade Logic Control System and Shift Hold Control, both of which work to reduce gear 'hunting' and unnecessary changes.

Drive-By-Wire

The drive-by-wire throttle system replaces the conventional throttle cable with an all-electronic system, enabling better communication with the transmission for a smoother drive.

Front, side and full-length curtain airbags

Not only does the Accord Euro provide the protection of front, side and curtain airbags, its front airbags provide extra protection to passenger and driver. Honda's sophisticated dual-stage, dual-threshold system optimises the airbag deployment to match the speed and severity of a crash. It also helps to minimise injuries that can sometimes be caused by airbags themselves.

A.C.E. ™ — Honda's revolutionary energy absorbing technology

Honda's Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure is designed to deliver significantly enhanced occupant protection a variety of real-world crash conditions. ACE absorbs and actively channels crash energy around and away from the passenger compartment.

It can also help minimise the potential for under-ride or over-ride situations during impacts with a significantly larger or smaller vehicle.

Active Head Restraints

High Tensile Steel

Passengers are protected by the Euro's strong unit body structure. Around 50%, including the passenger cell frame and front and rear side members, is manufactured from high tensile steel, providing greater strength without a weight penalty. Ultra high tensile steel makes up 42% of the total.

Stability Control

Honda's Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) system and power steering are standard features of every Accord Euro. Plus, Honda complements these key safety features with an innovative "motion adaptive" system to prevent over- or under-steering.

Eight parking sensors - to get you into and out of a tight spot

With eight parking sensors, the Accord Euro Luxury and Luxury Navigation alerts you to danger when you're closer than you’d like to be. The Multi Information Display even indicates the position of the obstacle.
