2.4L i-VTEC engine

The “i” in “i-VTEC” stands for intelligent. It’s a good description for the very clever technology that gives Odyssey high levels of power and torque with amazing fuel efficiency.

Power when you need it

The Odyssey delivers an impressive 132kW of power at 6500rpm and 218Nm of torque at 4500rpm. When you’re climbing a hill, loaded with kids, luggage and more, you’ll really appreciate what those Kw's and Nm's mean.

Very agile handling

With a turning circle of just 5.4 metres at the wheel centre (about the same as the Civic), and a compact, rigid body, this seven-seater has all the right moves to make driving fun.

Low-emission vehicle

The Odyssey emits only 212 grams of CO2 per 100km. In recognition of its low greenhouse gas emissions compared to other similar vehicles, the Honda Odyssey is proud to be an LEV classified vehicle.

5-speed automatic transmission

The Odyssey’s advanced 5-speed automatic transmission features Grade Logic Control. This system enhances driving efficiency by factoring in the rate of acceleration or deceleration on hills or gradients to help determine optimal shift points.

A stable, comfortable ride

The Odyssey’s double wishbone suspension makes for a very smooth drive. Plus, the lower, more balanced chassis reduces cabin noise and vibration (from the wind and engine—the kids are up to you).

Cruise control

Standard on every Odyssey, the cruise control feature lets you set your preferred speed, so you can concentrate on the road not the speedo. By making highway driving easier, it’s one more way that Odyssey is the perfect getaway car.

Drive-by-wire throttle

Delivering responsive acceleration and smooth transmission shifts, the Odyssey’s electronic drive-by-wire throttle replaces the conventional throttle cable with an all electronic system, helping boost performance and driver control while reducing emissions.

 

Safety

Safety features set Odyssey apart

With the Odyssey, you won’t have to pay extra for features that make you and your family feel safe. Stability and traction control, six airbags, ABS brakes, active front head restraints and more. They’re all standard equipment on all Odyssey models.

3-point (lap/sash) seatbelts for everyone

Every seat position in the new Honda Odyssey has a 3-point (lap/sash) seatbelt. So even with seven people inside, the Odyssey offers everyone the enhanced protection of lap and shoulder restraints.

Airbags for Everyone

The Odyssey’s dual-stage, dual-threshold front airbags provide important protection for the driver and front passenger by optimising the airbag deployment to match the speed and severity of a crash. They also help to minimise injuries that can sometimes be caused by the airbags themselves. Plus, front side airbags and 3-row side curtain airbags provide an impressive line of lateral defence.

Stability control comes standard

Honda’s Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Traction Control and Motion Adaptive Electronic Power Steering (MAE) systems can detect oversteering, understeering or traction loss, and help restore your intended path. These systems offer critical assistance in difficult driving situations, such as hard cornering or swerving to avoid a collision.
